On May 26, Defense Minister Kishi received a courtesy call from Sir Stephen Lovegrove, UK National Security Advisor. They exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine, as well as the situation in the Indo-Pacific region.
The UK has been reinforcing its commitment in the Indo-pacific region, and JMOD/JSDF will continue to work closely with the UK, which shares fundamental values and strategic interest.
