From January 17 to 22, JMSDF JS Hyuga conducted a bilateral exercise with USS Carl Vinson and USS Abraham Lincoln CSGs , USS America and USS Essex in offshore areas south of Okinawa to strengthen Japan-U.S. Alliance capabilities to deter and respond! It marks the 8th exercise with US carrier in this fiscal year.
This training aims to improve JMSDF tactical skills and interoperability with U.S. Navy.
