On November 25, “Australia-Japan Space and Cyber Symposium - Emerging Opportunities for Defence Industry” was held. Commissioner, ATLA, and Director of Strategic Planning Division, MOD, gave opening remarks and a presentation respectively.
Japan and Australia are Special Strategic Partners that share basic values and strategic interests. At the last Japan and Australia “2+2”, we agreed to deepen cooperation in areas of space, science, technology and cyberspace.
The Symposium was a great occasion to deepen our mutual understanding on such areas, as well as to explore opportunities to accelerate our industrial collaboration. We would like to see the Symposium leading to deepened Japan-Australia cooperation.
