On November 8, State Minister of Defense Oniki participated in the award ceremony of the insignia of Officier of Légion d’Honneur to the former Chief of Air Staff, retired General MARUMO Yoshinari hosted by H.E. Mr. Seton, Ambassador of France to Japan. State Minister Oniki met with the Ambassador on the occasion.
JMOD/JSDF will continue to promote further defense cooperation and exchanges with France.
