The “Professional Airmanship Program (PAP)”, which invites air force officers from all ASEAN member states and officials from the ASEAN Secretariat, is part of practical defense cooperation under the Vientiane Vision 2.0, the guiding principle for Japan-ASEAN defense cooperation.
Through activities such as symposium, this program aims to contribute to regional stability by promoting mutual understanding and confidence among the air services of Japan and ASEAN and contributing to ensuring the rule of law in the Indo-Pacific region.
