From September 28 to Oct 8, JGSDF joined U.S.-Philippine-hosted exercise KAMANDAG 21 and conducted training for disaster relief and medical evacuation with Philippine Marine Corps. This year, marking the 65th anniversary of Japan and Phillipine friendship, all three services of SDF conducted exercises with Philippine!
Through this exercise with Philippine Marine Corps, JGSDF not only improved tactical skills for HA/DR(Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief) but also promoted Japan and Philippine mutual understanding and cooperation and contributed to uphold and reinforce Free And Open Indo Pacific .
