JGSDF and JMSDF joined TS21 (TalismanSabre) in Australia. The Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade from JGSDF and JS MAKINAMI from JMSDF joined this exercise and participated in training for amphibious operations.
The training intends to enhance ground-naval capability for island defense through protecting and supporting the Japan,U.S.,Australian,UK ground forces’ landing operations by Japan,U.S.,Australian,ROK,Canadian naval forces’ air defense. International cooperation will be promoted to uphold & reinforce Free And Open Indo-Pacific.
