JMSDF training ship KASHIMA and SETOYUKI train with Indian Navy corvette KULISH

On June 13, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) training ship KASHIMA and SETOYUKI conducted a bilateral training with Indian Navy corvette KULISH in the Indian Ocean, which is important for maritime traffic. Both countries simulated a series of procedures such as collaboration and information sharing. Japan and India conducted training and exercises such as Malabar (November, 2020) and La Perouse (April, 2021). Through these exercises, both countries demonstrated their unified commitment sharing the “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” Vision and their enhanced defense cooperation.
