　On May. 27, Defense Minister Kishi received a courtesy call by Chargé d’affaires ad interim Mr. Joseph M. Young of U.S. Embassy Tokyo, who is going to leave the position shortly. Minister Kishi extended his appreciation to Mr. Young for his dedication to strengthen Japan-U.S. Alliance during his tenure.
