On April 20th, JMSDF patrol aircraft SH-60K conducted bilateral training with USN patrol aircraft MH-60R in the waters and airspace of Sagami Bay. They confirmed collaboration procedures for formation flying through the training.
The JSDF and the US Forces implement various bilateral training and exercises throughout the year to bolster the capability of the Japan-U.S. Alliance to deter and respond.
