From April 5 to 7, the JMSDF participated in “La Perouse”, a joint exercise conducted by Japan, France, US, Australia and India, with the purpose of enhancing tactical skills and cooperation with other countries’ navies, sustaining and strengthening the FOIP vison.
Japan strategically promote the multi-faceted security cooperation and coordination, centering on Japan-U.S. alliance and closely cooperating with the countries which share the fundamental values. This exercise demonstrated the cooperation and unity among the five countries.
