On March 18, PVM Matsukawa visited Sagamihara Area and received an explanation of rail gun, studies on emergency armoring technology and ground/amphibious vehicle simulator (GAVS). She also visited Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
Ground Systems Research Center undertakes research and conducts testing on firearms, ammunition, vehicles and engineer equipment etc. It conducts research to enhance the ability of military equipment, such as rail gun and hybrid power outlet.
