| The Engineer School, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), Japan Ministry of Defense (JMOD), provided an online educational program about the basics of heavy machinery maintenance for 6 maintenance personnel of the Engineer Battalion of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force. This was the first capacity building program for PNGDF engineers to be organized by JMOD. The objective of the program is to develop engineering maintenance skills to assist PNG HA/DR capabilities. The participants have a key role in HA/DR operations and infrastructure maintenance in PNG. |
