On March 22, State Minister Nakayama visited #JASDF Wakkanai Sub Base. He received a report on their activity and inspected the facilities. JASDF Wakkanai Sub Base is unique in that the units of all three services, namely JGSDF, JMSDF and JASDF are located there. In the base, the new warning and control radar is under construction to enhance warning and surveillance capability in the airspace around Japan.
