On March 17 and 18, JS Ariake from JMSDF conducted the exercise the French and Belgian Navies during the sail in the Gulf of Aden and U.S. Navy joined the exercise on March 19 and 20 in the Arabian Sea. The JMSDF enhanced tactical skills and the cooperation with participants.
Japan will strategically promote the multi-faceted security cooperation and coordination based on Japan-U.S. alliance with the countries sharing the fundamental value, as well as to demonstrate the cooperation and unity among the four countries through this exercise.
