Receiving a Secondee from the Australian Department of Defence
Ministry of Defense would like to announce that it is receiving an official on secondment from the Australian Department of Defence. The details of the exchange are as below.

Capacity Building Section, Indo-Pacific Regional Policy Division, Bureau of Defense Policy
(4) Overview of Assignments
They include
- planning and coordinating Japan-Australia cooperation projects on capacity building
- sharing information and lessons on capacity building initiatives of Japan and Australia
(Reference) Background on receiving a secondee from the Australian Department of Defence
The exchange program with the Australian Department of Defence was agreed during the Japan-Australia Defence Ministerial Meeting held in September 2012 as a part of Japan-Australia cooperation in the area of capacity building. With this agreement of exchange, to this day, we have received 4 secondees from Australia, and MOD has sent 4 secondees to Australia.
