From March 9 and 11, JGSDF conducted parachute and cargo drop training from the aircraft of the U.S. Air Force in East Fuji Maneuver Area. The 1 st Airborne Brigade enhanced tactical skills for airborne
as well as improved the cooperation with the U.S. Force through this exercise.
Ministry of Defense and JSDF will continue to make efforts to enhance interoperability and Japan-U.S. bilateral response capabilities at the military branch and unit levels by taking every opportunity.
