From March 29 to 31, JS Akebono of the JMSDF conducted wide variety of tactical training with HMAS Anzac of the Royal Australian Navy navigating in the South China Sea, enhancing the tactical skills and cooperation with Royal Australian Navy.
Under the vison of FOIP, this exercise demonstrated both countries’ concurred resolution in a tangible way of enhancing regular bilateral and multilateral cooperative activities in the Indo-Pacific to maintain a free and open, secure, inclusive and prosperous region.
