On Feb 19, State Minister Nakayama visited ATLA Advanced Defense Technology Center and got briefed on the efforts to utilize advanced technologies for the R&D by ATLA. Further, he inspected the research facilities of unmanned underwater vehicle at Naval Systems Research Center.
Naval Systems Research Center is a research laboratory that is responsible for designing, researching, and testing ships, underwater weapons, minesweeping equipment, etc. with a look ahead to future maritime warfare.
