【Keeping Peace!!】 Assault amphibious vehicle

The amphibious vehicle, Assault Amphibious Vehicle 7 has ability to enter the water from tank landing ship, cross the sea and land for assault. It plays an important role in the forefront of defending remote islands, especially in amphibious operations.
AAV7 is used by JGSDF Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade, which was organized in 2018 to strengthen defense posture in the southwest region. Its presence and importance has been growing as it especially engages in amphibious operations under cooperation of JMSDF and JASDF.
