Program Outline

The Ministry of Defense's invitation program provided information on military medical personnel training and upskilling to the Uzbekistan Ministry of Defense. The visiting Uzbekistan delegation, comprised of five military medics, toured the JSDF Central Hospital and JGSDF Sapporo Hospital. JSDF medics undertake clinical training, and also perform the full range of actual medical procedures, at both of these facilities. The visiting delegation also toured the JGSDF Medical Service School, where JSDF personnel acquire their credentials as medics, as well as the knowledge and skills to be JSDF medical service officers.
