Military Medicine

Program Outline

The JMOD and JSDF invited three members of the Republic of Uzbekistan military with responsibility for training and developing military medicine personnel and conducted training at Defense Headquarters and the National Defense Medical College.
  The training included briefings on how the JSDF trains doctors and an overview of the National Defense Medical College. The participants also inspected training facilities and received briefings on research achievements while visiting the National Defense Medical College Research Institute. This was the first time for Japan to conduct a defense capacity building activity with Uzbekistan.
