In 2014, the Ministry of Defense and JSDF begun a capacity building assistance project to enhance the Mongolian Defense Force's capacity to contribute to PKO activities and deal with Natural Disasters.
This time, we conducted educational courses including field training, aimed at assisting trainees to learn basic survey and design techniques related to road construction. For many trainees this was thier first time to learn about surveying. They eagerly studied survey-specific mathematics and how to use survey equipment. The skills learnt by the Mongolian Army representatives this time will help them construct a road in the next training program.
