The MOD/JSDF provided a PKO (Civil Engineering) program to assist the Mongolian Army to improve capacity to natural disasters and deployment to UN peacekeeping operations (PKO). For this program, the MOD/JSDF invited 5 officers from the PKO (Civil Engineering) Department, within the General Staff Headquarters of the Mongolian Army. Through observing how practical training is conducted at the JGSDF Engineer School, the participants deepened their understanding of the training the MOD/JSDF is planning to implement in Mongolia next financial year.
