Defense officials from Japan, the United States (U.S.) and the Republic of Korea (ROK), convened the 14th Defense Trilateral Talks (DTT) via teleconference on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
Japan Director General for Defense Policy Mr. Kano Koji, U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Dr. Ely Ratner, and ROK Deputy Minister for National Defense Policy Dr. Cho Chang-rae participated in the DTT as a representative from each party and issued a joint statement following the DTT.
Japan Ministry of Defense will strengthen the trilateral collaboration among Japan, the U.S. and the ROK through various opportunities moving forward.
