1. On January 11, the 8th Japan-Italy Military to Military (MM) Dialogue was held in Rome, Italian Republic.
2. The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. MIURA Jun, Director General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, Ministry of Defense, and the Italian delegation was led by Brigadier General Alessandro GRASSANO, Deputy Chief of the Military Policy and Planning Division, Italian Defence General Staff.
3. They exchanged views on a variety of issues, such as regional affairs and defense policy of both nations, etc. and deepened the discussion on bilateral defense cooperation and exchanges.
