On Dec 27, Defense Minister Kihara had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Rahm Emanuel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Japan. They reflected on the progress of Japan-U.S. defense cooperation during this past year and discussed concrete efforts to further strengthen the Alliance capabilities to deter and respond.
