On December 14, Defense Minister Kihara held a Trilateral Defence Ministerial Meeting in Tokyo with H.E. Mr. Crosetto, Italian Minister of Defence, and Rt Hon Shapps MP, UK Secretary of State for Defense, to discuss Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP).
On this occasion, the three Ministers Japan-UK-Italy jointly signed the Convention on the Establishment of the GCAP International Government Organisation. We are pleased to have marked this significant milestone for the smooth joint development of GCAP.
