- On November 20, the 1th Japan-Qatar Military to Military (MM) Dialogue was held in Doha, Qatar.
- The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. MIURA Jun, Director General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, and the Qatar delegation was led by Staff Brigadier Abdul Aziz Saleh Al-Sulaiti, Head of International Military Cooperation Authority, Qatar Armed Forces. They exchanged views on a variety of issues, including regional affairs, and also discussed the way forward for Japan-Qatar defense cooperation and exchanges and other relevant topics.
