| From 15 May to 9 June, the JMOD/JMSDF conducted a capacity building activity in the field of underwater unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance with the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Through the activities, the JMSDF personnel conveyed specialized knowledge on underwater UXO clearance in training pool and open water settings. They also provided training on target searching methods, as well as lifting and moving heavy objects underwater. |
