  1. On August 28, Vice-Minister Serizawa visited Australia to observe F-35A deployment training. This is a milestone commemorating the first application of Japan-Australia Reciprocal Access Agreement.
  2. RAA is expected to enable defense forces of Japan and Australia to be deployed to the other country more frequently than ever before and conduct larger and more complex exercises.
  3. MOD/SDF will continue to deepen Japan-Australia defense cooperation.
