Japan-Oman Military to Military (MM) Dialogue
- On June 19, the 1th Japan-Oman Military to Military (MM) Dialogue was held in Muscat, Oman.
- The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. MIURA Jun, Director General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, and the Oman delegation was led by Brigadier General HAMED bin Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Balushi, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, Sultan of Oman’s Armed Forces. They exchanged views on a variety of issues, including Japan-Oman security cooperation and regional affairs, etc. They also discussed the way forward for Japan-Oman defense cooperation and exchanges and other relevant topics.
