On March 15, Defense Minister Hamada received a courtesy call from Mr. Rahm Emanuel, Ambassador of the United States to Japan. They had candid discussions on Japan-U.S. defense cooperation including cooperation with partner countries and defense industrial cooperation, based on the “2+2” discussion. They also confirmed that they would work together to further strengthen Japan-U.S. Alliance.
