On 9 Feb, Defense Minister Kishi encouraged JASDF personnel online, who will be sent to Hanoi to conduct a capacity building project on air rescue. Through this project, the JMOD/JASDF will further develop and strengthen “Japan – Vietnam Defense Cooperation at the New Level”.
JMOD will send 4 JASDF personnel to Vietnam, who will provide advice and technical support to the Vietnamese Air Defence – Air Force in the field of air rescue.
This defense cooperation project will contribute to the enhancement of Vietnam’s capacity to cope with aviation and maritime accidents, and natural disasters.
