On August 14 and 15, JMSDF JS Chokai conducted anti-surface warfare training and communication drills with US Navy USS Benfold in the East China Sea. MOD/JSDF will keep its efforts to strengthen Japan-U.S Alliance capabilities to deter and respond through bilateral training / exercises.
