From June 23 to 24, JMSDF JS KIRISHIMA, JS MAYA, JS HAGURO and JS TOKIWA conducted bilateral training with the US Navy USS MUSTIN in the southern waters of the Kanto Area. In this training, JMSDF and USNavy trained procedures for fuel replenishment and information sharing.
This became the very first Japan-U.S. bilateral training for JS HAGURO, which was commissioned this March. MOD/JSDF will continue to conduct bilateral and multilateral exercises with USForces and demonstrate that we are working together.
