On Nov. 24, the 16th Japan–Singapore Military to Military (MM) Dialogue was held face-to -face in Singapore. They exchanged views on regional security issues and bilateral and multilateral defense cooperation including the area of infectious diseases under COVID-19 pandemic.
Japan-Singapore MM Dialogue has been held periodically since 1997. While direct defense communication with other countries is generally constrained due to COVID-19, the two countries had a productive face-to-face discussion with all possible measures to prevent infections.
