The Self Defense Fleet holds about 100 ships and 170 aircrafts, and these units belong mainly to Fleet Surface Force, Fleet Air Force, Fleet Submarine Force. Moreover, it has various units, such as Maritime Warfare Research and Development Command.
They are persons in charge to the unit to whom the Commander of SUF, AF, SBF are called a “Force Provider” to the Commander in Chief, Self Defense Fleet who is a person in charge of the unit employment called a “Force User”, such as education and training.
