部隊紹介 Introduction of the Kamo base
男鹿国定公園の国有地の中に所在しており、国有林に囲まれ勤務に集中できる絶好の環境にあります。部隊は、海抜約７００メートルの山頂地区と約２００メ ートルの庁舎地区があります。気候は、夏に温暖ですが冬に寒冷となり、約１メートル以上の積雪があります。
部隊から市街地までは約１７キロメートルで、車で約３０分（冬４０分）を要します。
本山山頂地区には、男鹿市ロータリークラブが建立した慰霊碑が
あり、毎年慰霊祭が行われています。
The unit is located within the national-owned land of Oga Quasi-National Park, surrounded by national forests, providing an excellent environment for focused work. The unit consists of two areas, the summit district at an altitude of 700 meters and the government building district at about 200 meters. The climate is mild in summer but cold in winter, with snow accumulation of over one meter.
The distance from the unit to the city area is about 17 kilometers, which takes about 30 minutes by car (40 minutes in winter).
There is a memorial monument erected by the Oga City Rotary Club at the Honzan mauntaintop area, and a memorial service is held there every year.
