The Japanese Self-Defense Fleet is conducting SDF Joint Exercise (CPX) in FY2022

The Self-Defense Fleet is conducting SDF Joint Exercise (CPX) in FY2022 from January 27 to February 3, 2023.
This exercise tests our ability to respond in conflict situations, ranging from gray zone to armed attack situations, as well as to maintain and improve joint capabilities across the Japan Self Defense Forces.
The Self-Defense Fleet maintains responsiveness, safeguards the peace and defense of Japan, continues to integrate with allied and friendly navies and contributes to the stability in the Indo-Pacific region in order to realize a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific.”
