JS HARUSAME conducted a bilateral exercise with Spanish Navy FF NUMANCIA

On 25 October, JS HARUSAME conducted a bilateral exercise with Spanish Navy FF NUMANCIA in the Gulf of Aden.
Commander, Escort Division 2, CAPT KUDO Masanori said, “Through this bilateral exercise, we improved the tactical capabilities of the units in combating piracy and strengthened our cooperation with the Spanish Navy. In addition, we contributed to deterring piracy by demonstrating the presence of the JMSDF and Spanish navies."
The Self-Defense Fleet remains responsive, continues to integrate with friendly navies, defends maritime order based on the rule of law, safeguards the peace and defense of Japan, and contributes to the stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
