The Minister of Defense visited the Maritime Operations Center and JS MOGAMI

On September 5, HAMADA Yasukazu, Minister of Defense visited VADM YUASA Hideki, Commander in Chief, Self-Defense Fleet at the Maritime Operations Center and JS MOGAMI.
This is the first visit by Defense Minister Hamada to the Maritime Self-Defense Force since he assumed his post.
The Maritime Operations Center is operated by the Self-Defense Fleet Command as a joint task force to establish a rapid response system for contingencies ranging　from peacetime to national security emergencies in close cooperation with other Self-Defense Forces, U.S. forces, and related ministries and agencies.
