JS KIRISAME conducted bilateral exercise with USS JACKSON and USNS CARL BRASHEAR

From July 23 to 24, JS KIRISAME conducted bilateral exercise with USS JACKSON and USNS CARL BRASHEAR in Pacific Ocean to improve our tactical skills and strengthen cooperation with allied.
Even in the midst of various restrictions imposed by the COVID19, JMSDF has maximized the mobility and flexibility that are characteristic of the naval forces, and has always acted together with the U.S. Navy in all sea areas, in order to contribute to the strengthening of deterrence and response capabilities of the Japan-U.S. Alliance.
The Self-Defense Fleet maintains readiness, contributing to the defense of Japan and the maintenance to maritime order based on law, as well as stability in the Indo-Pacific region with U.S. Navy.
