JS TERUZUKI conducted a Japan-U.S. bilateral exercise with RONALD REAGAN CSG

From May 24 to 26, JS TERUZUKI conducted a bilateral exercise with the U.S. Navy RONALD REAGAN Carrier Strike Group in the waters south of Kanto, to improve our tactical skills and interoperability.
The JMSDF and the U.S. Navy work closely together to maintain and improve our bilateral response capabilities to various contingencies.
The Self-Defense Fleet maintains its readiness, and contributes to the defense of Japan based on deterrence and the response capabilities of the strong Japan-U.S. alliance, and contributes to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region in cooperation with many nations that share our fundamental values toward the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific.”
