JS KIRISAME conducted a bilateral exercise with FS VENDEMIAIRE

On March 17, JS KIRISAME conducted a bilateral exercise with FS VENDEMIAIRE in the East China Sea.
The Commanding Officer of JS KIRISAME, CDR SAKATA Atsushi said, “Through this exercise, we enhanced our tactical skills and cooperation between the JMSDF and the French Armed Forces in the Pacific. France is an important partner of the “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” and I felt very reassured conducting this exercise together.”
The Self-Defense Fleet remains responsive and integrates with friendly forces, safeguards the peace and security of Japan, and contributes to support stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
