JS YUDACHI participated on multinational exercise sponsored by the Indian Armed Forces

From 1 to 4 March, JS YUDACHI, participated on multinational exercise sponsored by the Indian Armed Forces in the area around Visakhapatnam, India.
Commanding Officer, JS YUDACHI, Commander WAKUSHIMA Hidetaka, said, “Through our participation in this multilateral exercise, we have improved our tactical skills, strengthened cooperation with the participating navies, and deepened mutual understanding. The Indian Navy is a special strategic partner that shares the goal of peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region, and the Japan-India navy has contributed to strengthening security cooperation between the two countries by actively conducting bilateral exercises.”
The Self-Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with partner navies.
