JS URAGA and JS HIRADO, conducted bilateral exercise with Bangladesh navy frigate PROTTASH and attack craft-missile NIRMUL

On January 8, JS URAGA and JS HIRADO, which are engaged in the 2021 Indo-Pacific Area Dispatch Exercise (IMED21), called at Chittagong, Bangladesh. After leaving port, the unit conducted a Japan- Bangladesh goodwill exercise with Bangladesh navy frigate PROTTASH and attack craft-missile NIRMUL to enhance our tactical skills, friendship and mutual understanding with the Bangladesh navy.
The Self-Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region with friendly nations navy.
