IPD21 force conducted bilateral exercise with USS MILIUS

November 8 to 12, IPD21 unit JS KAGA and JS MURASAME conducted bilateral exercise with USS MILIUS in the South China Sea.
In this exercise, the advanced operational capability of USS MILIUS, the U.S. Navy Aegis destroyer, became a part of the IPD21 unit and enhanced tactical skills and interoperability between the JMSDF and the U.S. Navy.
Despite COVID-19, the Self-Defense Fleet remains responsive and strength of units, integrates with the U.S. Navy, and contributes to support stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
