IPD21 force conducted a goodwill exercise with the Vietnam Navy and made a port call in Cam Ranh, Vietnam

November 7, IPD21 unit JS KAGA and JS MURASAME conducted a goodwill exercise with Vietnam Navy's frigate Dinh Tien Hoang off Cam Ranh. Prior to the training, both ships also made a port call in Cam Ranh, Vietnam from November 5 to 7.
Through this goodwill exercise, we enhanced our tactical skills and promoted mutual understanding and friendship with the Vietnam Navy.
Despite COVID-19, the Self-Defense Fleet makes full use of the characteristics of the naval force, flexibility and mobility, promotes cooperative relationship with friendly countries, and contributes to support stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
