JS HAMANA conducted bilateral exercise with INS Kiltan

On Jun 29, JS HAMANA, commanded by CDR KINUYAMA Takeo, conducted bilateral exercise in the East China Sea with INS Kiltan, to enhance our tactical skills and increase cooperation between JMSDF and Indian Navy.
This training was an offshore replenishment exercise in anticipation of the issuance of the Japan-India ACSA, deepened defense cooperation with India, a “Special Strategic Partner”, to realize a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
Despite COVID-19, the Self-Defense Fleet remains responsive and integrates with the Indian Navy, safeguard the peace and security of Japan and contribute to support stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
